Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit association founded in 1989 with the aim of assisting and fostering the exchange of students. Currently, it is one of the largest interdisciplinary associations in Europe, with a presence in 520 institutions across 42 countries.

ESN operates at three levels: Local, National, and International. ESN Oviedo works at the local level, organizing activities to facilitate the integration and enhance the experience of foreign students at the University of Oviedo.

Furthermore, ESN works towards creating a more mobile and flexible educational environment, supporting and promoting the exchange of students at different levels. It also contributes to an intercultural experience for those students who may not have the opportunity to participate in a period abroad, fostering "internationalization at home."
