Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 with the aim of facilitating and promoting student exchange. Today, it is one of the largest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe, present in more than 520 institutions across 42 countries.

ESN operates on three levels: local, national, and international. ESN Oviedo works at the local level, organizing activities to help international students integrate and make the most of their experience at the University of Oviedo.

Moreover, ESN strives to create a more mobile and flexible educational environment, supporting and promoting student exchange at different levels. It also contributes to an intercultural experience for those who cannot study abroad, encouraging internationalization at home.

Our mission in Oviedo

In Oviedo, we support students from the moment they arrive, helping them adapt and settle in through the Buddy Program, where each Erasmus student is matched with a Spanish volunteer who helps them with any questions and guides them through their new life. We also organize a Welcome Week full of events and activities to meet each other and start building friendships.

Activities throughout the year

• Cultural: trips and visits to iconic places in Asturias and other regions.
• Sports: volleyball, basketball, and football matches or tournaments.
• Social and leisure: parties, tapas nights, karaoke, board game evenings, and much more.

Every week we offer new experiences so that our Erasmus students can enjoy a true ESN life to the fullest, having fun, meeting people, and creating unforgettable memories.
