La Senda Verde

La Senda Verde, also known as Fuso de la Reina, is an easy hiking trail with almost 8km that can be covered walking or by bike. It begins in the Parque de Invierno and ends at the ancient train station of Fuso de la Reina. To go back, you can do the same path back or take a train.

Monte Naranco

With an average difficulty, climbing Mount Naranco is almost mandatory because there you can see two of the most important Pre Romanesque monuments, Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo, and enjoy some wonderful views of the city of Oviedo from top.

Ruta Cascadas del Guanga

It’s a short hiking trail, with less than 4km round trip, 2 of them being uphill, and with an average difficulty. The most notable of this hiking trail are the 3 reachable waterfalls along the way, one of them standing 20m high. 

Camino de Santiago

We have a challenge for the most courageous students: the Camino de Santiago. The Camino Primitivo, which ends in Santiago after 13 stages between 15 and 13 km long each begins in Oviedo. A 321 km long experience through a not-so known nor crowded way like the Camino Francés. There's also the Camino Costero that you can Start in Gijón and follow all along.

Senda del Cervigón (Gijón)

If you want to enjoy the Asturian coastal landscape, you can't miss this route. It starts at Rinconin, also known as Cervigón Beach, passes through Providencia Park, and finishes at Ñora Beach. It is an easy route, covering approximately 10 km with a duration of 2 hours

Senda Fluvial del Piles (Gijón)

This is an easy 19 km route that runs between the Piles River and the Parish of Vega, transitioning from an urban to a more natural landscape along the river.

Camino de Covadonga

The first stage of the Covadonga Way begins in Gijón, starting from the Deva parish to Villaviciosa. This is an easy route with a one-way duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes.
